The first time I became involved with the complementary therapy world was when I had a back problem in 2003. At the time to help my back, I tried various complementary treatments such as reflexology, acupuncture, osteopathy, cranial sacral therapy and some others, alongside receiving conventional medicine. I became fascinated with reflexology especially, seeing how effective it was and how much it helped me. Seeing at first hand the importance of a holistic approach and how it complemented modern medicine, I decided to become a therapist. Trading in my job from the insurance sector to become a therapist, hasn’t been a difficult decision. I am thrilled to be working in this field where I can use these wonderfully gentle but highly effective therapies in helping others as they have helped me.
